The whole weekend started off great with the rehearsal dinner at Ice House South End and an amazing cake from Charlotte Cake Man. The following morning the groomsman all had straight razor shaves at Emerson Josephs while the bridal party got ready in the room at the Ritz Carlton.

Then came time for the big event. The wedding and reception at Byron’s South End was a unique venue with great food and staff. The floral arrangements from Lily Greenthumbs perfectly fit our vision perfectly, Split Second Sound did a great job making the reception a rocking party, and Critsey Rowe Photography captured it all with style and class.

After the wedding we used our Spring Break to take a short trip to Asheville for a few days and then down to Beaufort. While in Asheville we took in a Brews Cruise and had the opportunity to tour some of our favorite breweries. In Beaufort we took the boys to the beach and enjoyed the relaxed pace of lowcountry living.
Now that school is out Brigitte and I have decided to spend our summer relaxing. For the first time in many, many years neither of us are working a summer job. The positive side of this is that we have more time for each other, the boys, and also working around the house. Brigitte and I can’t wait for our next big adventure in our life and just like the wedding we can’t wait to share it with our friends and family.
