A year from now I’ll become Mrs. Wagner… I love the way that sounds… I can’t help but gush over marrying Geoff! I consider myself so lucky to have found a genuinely sincere man that wants to spend forever together.
Everyone laughs because at this point, as I’ve previously stated, we have so much planned. Honestly, I can’t imagine going through this adventure with anyone else, nor would I want to. Geoff has truly stepped up and agreed to help me with the details that will make our wedding day, a day to be remembered.
In July of last year Geoff’s idea of adventure consisted of a weekend hike with Maximus (our Rottweiler, Husky, German Shepherd mix) to Crowder’s Mountain. At this point, our adventures on the weekend include wedding planning ☺ Now, Geoff has become quite the wedding planning expert himself. There hasn’t been a decision made that didn’t involve/take into consideration both of our opinions.
Our completed task list:
-Wedding date, time, and colors
-Venue for wedding and reception
-Photographer
-Bridal party (although the groomsmen haven’t been asked yet)
-Bridal party gifts
-Garter toss song (OH EMMM GGEEEE-let’s just clarify now, I didn’t select the song)
-Guests’ favors
-Guest book
Currently working on:
-Engagement pics (Sunday March 27 @ 5:30)
-Flowers (appointment Monday, March 28 @ 5)
-Rehearsal dinner (venue selected-details to be determined)
-Bridal luncheon (venue selected-details to be determined)
-Hotels for guests (had to wait until 365 days out to officially block off rooms)
-Out of town guest bags (tentatively determined)
-Music (an idea for the ceremony has been decided… but for the reception, we are looking for a band… the search continues)
All in all, I think we have an excellent start! Everyone says this time passes by so quickly… I hope not… planning our first day as husband and wife has been amazing so far.
