Who's kidding who... we are so not taking the "last minute" route on anything that has to do with our wedding. So in true Brigitte and Geoff fashion, we figured while we had spring break off this week, we would finalize some of the details at our venue, which we did yesterday.
We arrived at 9am, way too early for some members of Team Wagner, but even still we arrived with a purpose and an idea. The purpose to finalize linens and ask those pesky questions that had arisen since the last time we consulted with Byron's. It was great to finally meet Ashley Erwin as she has been our contact thus far. By the way, if you're considering getting married at our venue, Ashley is amazing and so easy to work with (I attribute it to having an awesome name). We went in with some swatches of fabric from Connie Duglin and a sample of the bridesmaids' dress from J. Crew, forty-five minutes later, our linens were set for the wedding and other details finalized.
Afterwards, we visited Icehouse which is where we plan to have the rehearsal dinner, simply put, the venue/food was amazing. After meeting with Rochelle, Geoff and I can't wait to celebrate the night before our wedding at this venue. If you're in South End, I definitely suggest trying this place out! And if I might suggest, try the Stuffed Pimento Cheese Burger for $10. It comes stuffed with jalapeƱos & bacon then topped with caramelized onions & pimento cheese... amazing!
